Classical pianist Antoniya Stoyanova

Antoniya is a classical pianist and piano teacher who graduated her Master Degree with highest distinction at the Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria under prof. Yovcho Krushev. She started her piano studies at the age of 4. At the age of 12 she held her first performance as a soloist with a Philharmonic Orchestra in Bulgaria. During and after her study she took part in Piano Master classes with internationally acknowledged professors like Prof. Paolo Police, Prof. Bojidar Noev, Prof. Stela Dimitrova, Prof. Margarita Krusteva, Prof. Jania Aubakirova, Prof. Ying Wu, Prof. Mi-Kyung Kim and Prof. Marietta Petkova.

She participated as a soloist in the Academy orchestra of Sofia, the philharmonic orchestras of Burgas, Shumen, Razgrad, Vratza and others.

Antoniya traveled at the age of 22 to Dubai where she gained 9 years of teaching and performing experience. She worked with international standard music educational systems such as ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal School of Music) and Trinity College London – the two most recognized international piano exam grading systems. Along with the teaching she has performed frequently with the UAE Philharmonic Orchestra, at Jumeirah Beach hotel and other venues.

January 2015 she moved to the Netherlands where she performed and offered piano classes for almost two years. During this time she also started a YouTube channel in which students can review their pieces for ABRSM & Trinity exam preparation as well as other piano works.

The next step in her career leads her back to Dubai where she continues her piano teaching and performing career under her company Energico FZ LLC.

Antoniya has won prices at several international piano competitions:

  • 2016 – Honorable Mention with very good results – International Music Competition “Rising Stars Grand Prix”, Berlin
  • 2016 – Third prize – International Music Competition “The Muse”, Greece
  • 2003 – First prize – International Piano Competition “Carl Filtsch”, Romania
  • 2003 – Special prize at the International Competition “Music and Earth”, Bulgaria
  • 2003 – Third prize at the Academy Competition for piano-duo “Seiler”, Bulgaria
  • 2003 – Fourth prize at the International Piano Competition “Seiler”, Bulgaria
  • 2002 – Special prize for piano-duo and Special prize from the Chamber of Music at the National Competition “ Vurban Vurbanov” Bulgaria
  • 2002 – Honorary Diploma from the Municipality of Burgas/ Bulgaria for special contributions to the development of the music community.
  • 2000- First prize at the National Competition “Vurban Vurbanov”, Bulgaria
